Learn 2 Paddle

Manning River Dragon Boat Club regularly holds Learn 2 Paddle (L2P) sessions for beginners and those who are interested in learning the sport. Information on our next L2P session can be found below:

Learn to Paddle - Program 2

Manning River Dragon ​ Boat Club is holding a Learn to Paddle program starting on the 10th May 2025. Come and try Dragon Boat Racing with the Manning River Dragon Boat Club on the Manning River in Taree.

​Session dates and times:

• Session 1: 10th May 2025 8:30-9:45am
• Session 2: 17th May 2025 8:30-9:45am
• Session 3: 24th May 2025 8:30-9:45am
• Session 4: 31st May 20258:30-9:45am followed by a BBQ.

Community Paddle Event

Manning River Dragon Boat Club holds a Community outreach event during the annual MRDBC Regatta. This is a good opportunity for members of the community to come down and take part in a few short races. No experience required.
