Monday: Warm Up starts at 5:00pm - OTW 5:30pm, attendance cut off at 6:00pm Sunday evening.
Wednesday: Warm Up starts at 5:30am - OTW 6:00am, attendance cut off at 6:00pm Tuesday evening.
Friday: Warm Up starts at 5:30am - OTW 6:00am, attendance cut off at 6:00pm Thursday evening.
Saturday: Warm up for both sessions starts at 7am
Transition & Technique Session 7:00am - OTW 7:30am to 8.30am, attendance cut off at 6:00pm Friday evening.
Regular Session 7:00am - OTW 7.30am to 8.30am, attendance cut off at 6:00pm Friday evening.
“Learn2Paddle Program” is offered varied times during the year held on a Saturday mornings for four consecutive weeks.
MRDBC Paddling Training
1. Ensure that appropriate clothing is worn to all training sessions. This includes covered shoes and clothing/hats for sun protection, and water. 2. Sun screen is available in the club house should you need it. 3. When ever possible, our club Coaches and Sweeps will endeavour to have normal training sessions on the water. 4. On the odd times that on water training is deemed to be unsafe, then a land based aerobic session will take place. Please always be prepared, and have a towel and comfortable exercise shoes with you in case of any changes to the training session. 5. In times of flood or, there is a risk of injury to be at, or travelling to/from the clubhouse, our Flood Co Ordinator will notify all Club Members by email/text message as soon as possible, that all training sessions will be cancelled. All Club Members will be updated on the situation, and notified when to return to training.
